Bonjour is a technology that Apple built to implement zero-configuration service discovery protocol. It's bundled with Mac OS X and iPhone/iPod Touch. WiChat takes advantage of Bonjour service to achieve serverless communication without a pre-configured server.
WiChat works with your Wi-Fi network, so you can chat anybody who are using Bonjour IM clients (e.g, iChat or Adium) from anywhere as long as you are in the same local network.

How to use WiChat with Apple's iChat Bonjour?
1. Launch iChat in Mac OS X.
2. Select "Window->Bonjour List" menu item.
3. Enable Bonjour IM if it was not.
4. Then in the Bonjour list windows you will see other bonjour IM users in the same local network (including WiChat users of course).
